Our Story
The group has been in the Textile fabrics business for more than 75 years. Mr. Ratanchand Shah started Fabric wholesale business in the year 1925. His Son Mr. Sandip Shah joined the business in 1958 and continued and expanded the Textile business. Along with the Textile wholesale business he took up sole selling agencies of various textile mills of Ahmedabad.
His son Mr. Pranav Shah joined the business in the year 1993 and expanded and diversified the fabric business from traditional fabrics to fabrics made for readymade garments in knits and wovens. His son Mr. Sohail Shah the 4th generation in the family started taking a keen interest in the Group's affairs and day-to-day activities while doing his Bachelor's in Business Administration. He started as an intern in the Group and later went to the USA to pursue his master's degree in Marketing Science and later joined Sohaan Corporation and did vertical expansion in the textile business and developed Apparels, Home Textiles, House wares and lifestyle products in domestic and international markets.
